Another year in Forks has passed and the Cullens are back. Bella is ecstatic to see Edward and everything continues as if Edward never left. However, Jacob cannot forget and continually reminds Edward of the pain that he caused Bella. This causes a rift between Bella and Jacob and the two fall out. To make worse for Bella, Edward and Jacob are fighting for Bella's feelings. Justin Grant, another one of Bella's childhood friends watches all this and wonders what will happen to Jacob and Bella now.
But Justin has no time to ponder the future, for there is a lot happening suddenly. There is talk of another vampire coven arriving in Forks. And these aren't vegetarians. To top it off, more and more disabled students are arriving and it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. No one knows why or where these disabled students and their families came from but one is for sure, the folks of Forks aren't happy.
What will happen now that the other coven and the disabled students have arrived? Will there be a dramatic drop in students? One thing that is for certain is that nobody is safe. Not even the Cullens....
