It never occured to him that he'd become a Shape-shifter. His father warned him of the great possibility. Jacob had also thought that shape-shifters were only males, until he met Leah Clearwater, of course. This new knowing brought on more kindness, and caring, than what he'd ever learned to handle. His life became harder when he knew of his knew strengths. Only he knew that he could tell no human soul, for the sake of wiping out their entire race.
Now, Jacob holds two sides of himself. A Bright Side, and a Dark Side. Much like the moon. Caring, Careful, Kind, Loving. These are just few of his Bright Side that he likes to show. Though when he becomes tempered, it all blows away. Like a petal in the wind. Cruelty, Hatred, Monstrosity, Deadly. Those aren't many qualities of his Dark Side, but there's more than you could possibly list. He only hates to lose his temper around ones he knows, and ones he doesn't. He appreciates the quiet solitude to calm down.
